Gutter Cleaning Service
The most important time to call for gutter cleaning is fall, as clogged debris will freeze as the temperatures drop, causing problems such as a sagging roof and a leaky roof. If you are unable to call a professional gutter cleaning company, you may end up dealing with a damaged roof or costly repairs. There are some things you can do yourself, however. For example, you can clean out the clogs yourself.
If you’re the type of person who likes to clean gutters yourself, you can always do it yourself, but it’s not a good idea. There are many risks involved, including ladder safety. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, ladder falls are responsible for more than 165,000 emergency room visits annually. If you’re a homeowner who has the skills to clean gutters, you should not attempt this task on your own. The risks of injury are too high.
Another good reason to hire a professional gutter cleaning service is to protect your home. While it’s possible to save money by doing it yourself, a gutter cleaning company can be more expensive than you think. A professional company will be able to inspect your home’s roof for potential problems and address them before they become an expensive repair project. Not only will you protect your family, but you’ll be protecting your home from costly repairs and damage.

How we do gutter cleaning
Flush Out Gutters and Downspouts
Before we begin cleaning your downspouts and gutters, we first get rid of the clog by using a tarp, drop cloth, or ladder to reach the top of the downspout. Then, scoop out the debris by holding the tarp above the downspout and pouring water into the hose. Then, wipe down the tarp with a clean cloth and discard the dirt in a trash bag or compost bin.
The last step in cleaning your gutters is to ensure they have a proper slope. This can be accomplished by using a drain snake or a solid extension ladder. We always make sure that we have access to a ladder that can reach the top of the gutter opening.
Before we clean your gutters, we check to make sure that there is no leakage. If there is, we will repair it immediately. Otherwise, the clog will just be permanent and may require more professional cleaning time. Once we are done with cleaning your gutters, we will be checking the downspouts.
